MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR-OUR LADY OF PROVIDENCE SEMINARY & RETIREMENT HOME

Maintenance Supervisor – Seminary & Retirement Home


Our Lady of Providence Seminary and the Diocese of Providence are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Maintenance Supervisor to oversee upkeep of the seminary and priest retirement home. This role is responsible for ensuring buildings and grounds are safe, clean, and well-maintained.


Key duties include:


* Routine plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting


*Operation and upkeep of equipment (mowers, snow blowers, power tools, etc.)


* Grounds maintenance including mowing and snow removal


* Regular inspections and repairs (lighting, locks, drains, doors, sensors, etc.)


* Coordinating and supervising outside contractors


* Rotating on-call schedule for emergencies and events


Qualifications:


*Minimum 5 years’ maintenance experience in a church, commercial, or similar setting


* Ability to lift 50 lbs., work indoors/outdoors, and climb ladders/scaffolding up to 24 feet


* High school diploma/GED preferred


* Practicing Catholic in good standing preferred
